The TED MTU-HV enables you to monitor and manage your energy usage through energy cost and use awareness. Energy use & alerts are presented through the Internet, computer, with a custom display, with mobile devices, email messages or by text. 

 

The system may optionally be configured for automatic adjustments to your thermostat settings or to turn off electrical loads which are based on user-selectable criteria like electricity cost, total usage, budget, time of the day, or by request from utility companies or electric providers.

 

The TED MTU HV is engineered to work with all 3 phase electrical systems anywhere on the globe & is compatible with many energy or demand rate billing systems which include fixed, time of use, step / tiered, demand, seasonal or all combinations of the mentioned methods. 

The (MTU) Measuring Transmitting Unit measures energy consumption, current, voltage, power factor and demand. Generally, the MTU-HV is located within the main electrical panel & transmits the information obtained, over the existing electrical wires, using state of the art (PLC) Power Line Carrier communications to the Energy Control Center which receives & interprets electrical data. Multiple MTU-HV units may be used to supply individual measurements of loads or panels. For systems utilizing wind, solar or other types of generation, multiple MTU HV units will communicate user power consumption, generation & net, from or to the utility.

 

System & Utility Rate setups are intuitive and simple with a PC that runs TED web based setup wizards.
